Women’s U18 World Volleyball Championships: the Italian team are World Champions!

In Rosario, in Argentina, the Italian team under Marco Mencarelli repeated the triumph of 2015, this time beating the Dominican Republic in the final 3-1 (25-23, 19-25, 25-12, 25-20). It was a clear and well-deserved victory, at the end of a practically perfect tournament in which the Italian team won all their eight matches. The Italian team gave an exceptional performance also in the final, with its stars, Terry Enweonwu and Elena Pietrini the best Italian scorers with 17 points. Congratulations girls!!!!
