The curtain rises on the start of the World Cup!

Thursday 14 June sees the start of the eagerly awaited 21st edition of the FIFA World Cup taking place in Russia until 15 July, with the final being played that same day at Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium. The tournament kicks off with the opening match between the host country, Russia, and Saudi Arabia. This will be followed by twenty-four days of football, interspersed by a few rest days, all during the elimination stage that will lead to the final. The 32 teams taking part have been divided into 8 groups, with Erreà Sport working alongside the extraordinary Icelandic team, the smallest nation in the tournament, that will be playing in Group D against Argentina, Croatia and Nigeria.   Here are the games that Iceland will be playing in the first, not-to-be-missed, phase: Saturday 16 June: Argentina vs Iceland - 3.00 pm in Moscow Friday 22 June: Nigeria vs Iceland - 5.00 pm in Volgograd Tuesday 26 June: Iceland vs Croatia - 8.00 pm in Rostov All that remains for us to say, as we wait in eager anticipation is - Come on Iceland!!!!!
