Italy beat the Netherlands 9-5 in the final of the 2021 Women's European Softball Championship: Italy's women are crowned champions of Europe for the twelfth time in their history.
A truly well-deserved success for the Italian women’s team, that dominated all the matches in the tournament, and in so doing have qualified for the Olympics. Italy is now preparing for the Games after a 17-year absence.
