Rwanda has reached the quarter finals of CHAN 2021, also known as the African Nations Championship or the Total African Nations Championship, which represents the African Cup for national teams which must be composed of players who play in their domestic league.
It is the 6th edition of this biennial tournament and this year it is being held in Cameroon.

Beating Togo 3 - 2, Rwanda qualified with 5 points, behind Morocco (7 points) in the Group which also included Uganda.
