The sixth edition of the Festival of Sport has come to a triumphant close, bringing with it the highly successful "La Grande Bellezza" and confidently stepping into the spotlight on the stage of international sport. The event was organised thanks to the hard work of the Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper and Trentino Marketing, with the fundamental support of the Autonomous Province of Trento, the Municipal Council of Trento, the University of Trento, Trentino Sviluppo and the Trento Provincial Tourist Board. It also received the prestigious sponsorship of the Italian National Olympic Committee and the Italian Paralympic Committee.
52,000 sports enthusiasts and more than 130 events made this edition of the Festival an unprecedented triumph. The presence of more than 300 guests from all over the world, including Olympic medallists and Ballon d'Or winners, brought the squares, theatres and reception rooms of the town to life, transforming it with a wave of enthusiasm and innovation.
As official apparel supplier, Erreà sponsored basketball and padel, supplying clothing not only for the instructors, but also for all those taking part. The company also provided the apparel for the padel and football events, as well as playing an active part in a special talk on volleyball.
One of the most memorable moments was "La Grande Partita", a match between Italian and international football legends and the Poste Italiane National team. The Briamasco Stadium was packed with 2400 spectators, which made the match an unforgettable event. On Saturday morning, attention shifted to the Padel event, with the participation of the same veteran legends that had already made the previous day’s event so special.
Lastly, the talk on volleyball welcomed a number of illustrious names from the sport, such as Alessandro Michieletto, Riccardo Sbertoli and Daniele Lavia, with the extraordinary participation of Emanuele Birarelli and the new captain Marko Podraščanin, who helped make the occasion even more memorable by proudly presenting the new shirts of Trentino Volley.
