The CUS (Centro Universitario Sportivo) of Catania celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2022. For the occasion, the rugby section decided to present a celebratory game kit in collaboration with designer BOB Liuzzo inspired by Catania's independent symbol (CataniaProject), which, through simple lines and colours, re-proposes the pure essence of the city Etna, Europe's highest active volcano in eruption surrounded by the sea and surmounted by the colour white that identifies the future and hope.
The jersey, deliberately rugby-style, is played on the chromatic combination of the city's symbol on the chest and shoulders, while on the lower part, on a black field, it presents the tone-on-tone repetition of a decorative pattern obtained from the elephant present in the team's crest, where the date 1947 and the number 75 stand out.
To complete it all, the jersey features a red heart-shaped collar, and the back of the uniform, with a completely black back, bears the words '1945 - 75th - 2022' underneath the collar, underlining the importance of the anniversary.
With a close fit, the fabric used is Saturno Light, soft and comfortable, extremely resistant and with a high degree of elasticity.
Like all Erreà garments, this collection is certified Oeko-Tex Standard 100, the certificate that since 2007 sets extremely strict limits on substances harmful to health, guaranteeing a high level of quality and safety.
