On 9 March the 26th edition of the Skopje Fashion Weekend took place, part of the "Italian Design Days", a worldwide project launched by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation through the Italian embassies, cultural institutes and trade agencies to promote Italian design and architecture.
Erreà participated in the event thanks to the on-site presence of Export Manager Carlo Stronati, who took part in the debate entitled 'Small but perfect: the energy of design for people and the environment'. In addition to him, Aleksandra Spasevska, journalist and activist member of 'Fashion Revolution Macedonia', Nathalie Ristovska, sustainable fashion designer and researcher of new technologies for fabric production and founder of the 'Jovanka' brand, were also present, the Italian designer Arslan Dodo who is on the list of 90 leading designers and companies worldwide and who came to Skopje especially for this event, Milena Donevska, brand manager at "Magnetic" and Alexandra Trpeska, who acts under the name "Majestic" as an influencer representing activism and sustainable fashion.
The event was part of the 'Small but perfect' project, designed as a fashion accelerator to transform circular fashion into sustainable models supported by the EU's COSME programme.
The word quality is not so much a synonym for luxury, but a factor in sustainable and responsible development. And people must be put before profit. The transition to a more circular economy can bring benefits such as reduced pressure on the environment, improved security of supply of raw materials, increased competitiveness, stimulation of innovation, economic growth and job creation.
Quality must be a connecting element that links design to production at the highest level through a complex interconnected chain in place that is not self-referential, but integrated into an efficient and common system.
Finally, during the event, a parade was held in which athletes from Federvolley Kosovo, Macedonian Athletic Federation, Macedonian Volleyball Federation and Handball local team Skopje paraded. The result was a successful event that filled the entire staff of Armor Plus (main client Erreà in Skopje), the main organiser of the event, with enthusiasm.
