Research into the fabric and attention to detail are the characteristics that best define the new shirts created by Erreà Sport for Benetton Rugby’s forthcoming 2021– 2022 season.
Clean lines and simplicity are some of the features of the home shirt that has the traditional green and white stripes, created entirely using sublimation printing, combined with white shorts and green and white socks.
The upper part of the shirt, at chest height, is enriched with a distinctive rubberised serigraph located in the areas where the ball is most likely to be caught.
The main body of the shirt is made of “Ruck” fabric, known for its exceptional resistance combined with excellent elasticity and wearability.
Like last year, the inside of the refined V-neck collar features the claim “E’ ORA DI RUGGIRE” (It’s time to roar), which has become the Lions’ slogan.
The Lions’ away shirt has the same model and slogan as the first. In this instance, however, the colour of the stripes on the white background are actually light blue.
Both shirts, in keeping with the past ones, allow the name of the shirt sponsors to be included in their original colours, giving the garment a greater vivaciousness. The kit is rounded off with white shorts, just like the home kit, and with white and light blue socks.
Also confirmed is the use of the technology applied to the shirtthat below the collar includes a space, held in place by a special thickened fabric, to house the GPS tracking device useful to monitor the players’ performances throughout the match
