Under 19 European Volleyball Championship: the young Italian team beats Hungary and goes through to the semi-final!

In Gyor, for the Under 19 European Volleyball Championship - Men, Mario Barbiero’s young team has won a place in the semifinal, following a three - nil victory against Hungary (25-16, 25-15, 25-19). Italy has also guaranteed itself a place at the Boys’ U19 World Championship (from 18 to 27 August in Bahrain) and at the European Youth Olympic Festival (from 23 to 30 July, in Gyor). At the end of the rounds stage Barbiero's lads had won four games and lost one (coming 2nd in the Pool), deservedly earning themselves the possibility of reaching the semi-finals for the first four places in the Championship. Italy will play a semifinal against Turkey, the team that topped its grouping, while the other semi-final will be between Russia and the Czech Republic. Well done!!!! Come on guys!!!!
