The poetry of two Spanish literary greats, the city's most symbolic and recognisable features and the use of a new antibacterial and antiviral fabric.
All of this comes together in the 2021-2022 kits for C.D. Numancia de Soria in a harmonious and truly attentive combination, created yet again by Erreà Sport. New kits with artwork that is both original and revisited, but strongly linked to the club’s identity and distinctiveness.
The home shirt is a great reaffirmation of the traditional colours with a red central part that combines with the blue of the distinctive V-shaped collar and the sleeves, that are characterised by a captivating speckled pattern on the shoulders where the red seems to “burst” onto the blue. Running vertically down the centre of the shirt, is a tone on tone, transfer printed poem by Antonio Machado, considered to be one of the greatest Spanish writers of all time. Respect for the classic style is revived for this season, with even newer details which, on the back of the shirt, focus on city of Soria’s skyline with an outline of its symbolic monuments. Yet one more tribute to the pride and strong sense of community that sets it apart.
Still on the back, under the collar, there is something new for this season, from the pen of Forges, the satirical cartoonist, showing the words “Pero no te olvides de Soria”, i.e. ‘But don't forget about Soria’.
The same model has been used for the away kit that has the classic diagonal purple stripe on a white background, a colour that is repeated, as in the first kit, on the collar and sleeves. Poetry is once again the focal point of the graphics, with a diagonal band containing verses by the great Spanish writer, Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer, who also has ties to Soria. A veritable tribute to the city that was the club’s birthplace, with the aim of emphasising the pride and love for one’s roots.
The two kits have semi-fitted wearability and are made in the revolutionary Ti-energy antiviral and antibacterial fabric.
Tests performed in accordance with ISO 18184 using the SARS-COV-2 virus, have proved that in the laboratory, the Ti-energy® 3.0 fabric can reduce the viral load by 99.85% compared to a standard polyester fabric six hours after coming into contact with the virus. This unique success in the world of fabrics was made possible by the use of two separate technologies: the zinc oxide nanoparticles, permanently encapsulated in the fibres, and the Minusnine J1+ treatment.
This dual function allows the fabric to form an effective protective barrier against droplets, liquids and micro-organisms and provide the players on the pitch even greater protection.
