After two years in the Segunda Division, Granada CF have won promotion to the Liga, the top-tier of Spanish football, with one game of the season left to play. The Andalucians are therefore promoted with Osasuna, the other winners of the Segunda Division. But the last promotion slot to become one of the best 20 teams in Spain will be decided by the play-offs, with Malaga, Albacete and Majorca having already qualified and with one of these teams, Deportivo La Coruña, Cádiz and Oviedo, playing for the final place.
And so, it is that with one game of the season left to play, Granada can celebrate a very special achievement that will allow them to return to play in the top tier of Spanish football, alongside Barça, Real, Atlético and Sevilla in the Andalucian derby.
