Cesena FC proudly presents the new third kit, completing the lineup for the 2024-25 season, a season that marks the club's return to the prestigious Serie B stage.
The distinctive peach fuzz color that characterizes the entire kit adds a fresh and modern touch, enhanced by black accents on the collar and sides, giving the jersey a unique and sophisticated design. The elegant contrast between the peach pink and black details further elevates the refined and poetic look of the ensemble.
The true highlight of the third kit is the geometric pattern that covers the entire jersey. This design, besides being aesthetically appealing, is a tribute to the historic Roman flooring discovered in the late 1990s beneath the city center, now preserved in the Hall of Honor at Palazzo Albornoz, thus recalling the cultural roots of the city of Cesena.
Like the home and away jerseys, the new third jersey is crafted from the Mundial fabric. This material ensures a semi-fitted "second skin" feel to optimize performance on the field. The fabric’s softness and double-hole construction with micro-perforations provide optimal ventilation and ideal body temperature regulation, supporting players in the most intense challenges of the season.
"This tribute from Cesena FC to the historical roots of our city," commented Mayor Enzo Lattuca, "is yet another confirmation of how this sports entity is a living and integral part of the Cesena community. This reinforces the sense of belonging but also the shared vision of a team that has achieved significant goals and has already started this new championship with the aim of raising the name of our city to great heights."
The mosaic, discovered in Piazza Fabbri between 1997 and 1998, covers an area of about 50 square meters and consists of a geometric decoration in black and white tiles. Cesena discovered this precious artifact during the start of construction for an underground parking lot in the area (now in front of the Malatestiana Library), where a Roman domus once stood.
"For the third kit designed with Erreà," said Claudia Gatti, Head of Marketing at Cesena FC, "we decided to merge history and modernity. The tribute to the Roman roots of the city of Cesena is represented by the pattern on the jersey, which features the beautiful decorative motifs of the Roman Mosaic discovered in 1997 in Piazza Fabbri and currently displayed at the City Hall. The contemporary touch, on the other hand, is the 'Peach Fuzz' shade, Pantone’s color of the year 2024, a bright peach tone with a vintage air that reflects the past while giving the jersey a touch of new modernity."
