Volleyball: Trento and Zenit Kazan compete in the Volleyball Club World Championship in Brazil

Trentino Volley's fixtures list for the approaching 2016/17 season has been enhanced with an additional and prestigious international engagement. As runners-up in the European Championship, the Club based in via Tener, will take its place at the 2016 Volleyball Club World Championship, ready to compete in Betim (Brazil) from 18 to 23 October , as a result of an invitation directly from the Organising Committee and the International Federation. Erreà will also have another team in the competition, namely Zenit Kazan from Russia. The eight teams competing in the Championship will be divided into two pools of four teams.   Trentino Volley are in Pool B together with the Argentinian teams UPCN and Bolivar - both having already played in previous editions in 2010 and 2013 - and the Brazilian team playing in their ow country, Minas Tenis Clube.  The Russian European Champions, Zenit Kazan, will, on the other hand, be playing in Pool A alongside defending world champions, Sada Cruzeiro, the champions of Asia, Tachung Bank VC (Taipei) and the African Champions Tala Ea El Geish (Egypt).
