The italian women's deaf volleyball team win the European Championships

The Italian women's national deaf volleyball Team beat Russia 3-0 (25-13; 25-19; 25-16) in the final, played at the PalaPirastu in Cagliari, and were crowned European Champions for the first time in their history.

A clear run for the Italian women who, throughout the tournament lost only one set in the opening match against Poland, which meant that after eight years they finally won a gold medal (they came second in 2011 at the European Championships).

We send our heartfelt congratulations for this outstanding victory!
