Mick Schumacher stays with Prema for the FIA Formula 2 Championship

Mick Schumacher will continue to drive for Prema Racing in 2019 and to compete in the FIA Formula 2 Championship. The nineteen-year-old German has just rounded off an exceptional 2018 season in the FIA F3 European Championship, totalling eight wins, seven pole positions and no fewer than 14 podium finishes, all of which have contributed to him winning the overall title. Based on these results, his jump to Formula 2 comes as a natural progression.   Schumacher has been with Prema since 2016, moving up from Formula 4 to Formula 3 and now Formula 2. His progress throughout all the different categories in which he has competed has been continuous and constant, and this augurs well for the new season that is about to start.
