The drawing for the composition of the pools for the Continental Championship tournament was held in Brussels. The tournament will be played in four countries, for the first time in history, with 24 national teams from 12th to 29th September.   Erreà Sport will have as many as 7 national representatives at the 2019 European Championships: Italy, France, Belgium, Holland, Slovakia, Romania and Austria. Here are the divisions of the first round:   Pool AMontpellier (Francia): France, Italy, Bulgaria, Portugal, Greece, Romania Pool B, Brussels and Antwerp (Belgium): Belgium, Serbia, Germany, Slovakia, Spain, Austria Pool C, Ljubljiana (Slovenia): Slovenia, Russia, Finland, Turkey, Macedonia, Bielorussia   Pool D, Rotterdam and Amsterdam (Holland): Holland, Poland, Czech Republic, Estonia, Ukraine, Montenegro.   The first round (12-19 September) will put the 24 national teams on the courts with the round robin formula: each team will play 5 matches for a total of 60 games. The last two classified in each division will be elminated (16 in all) and the first four will advance to the direct elimination round. Unlike past tournaments, this year there will be no playoffs and/or direct passage to the quarter finals.  If the four host nationals should qualify they’ll play the eighth finals at home. The quarter finals (23-24 September) will also be played in the four countries. The semifinals will be played, respectively, in Slovenia (Ljubljiana) and France (Paris) on 26 and 27 September. The winning team in the quarter finals played in Belgium will play in France and the winner of the match in Holland will fly to Slovenia. The finals, valid for the bronze and gold medal will be played in Paris at the AccorHotels Arena on 28 and 29 September.
