Mikhailov and Ngapeth’s Zenit Kazan, European Champions for four years, are now the 2019 CEV Champions League - Men semi-finalists.
The Russian sextet knocked out Andrea Anastasi's brave Trefl Gdansk team, winning the return leg 2-3 (23-25, 23-25, 25-:23, 29-27, 15-17) and then taking the golden set 15-12. In the Champions League semi-final, Zenit will meet Sir Safety Perugia Volley who won their quarter-final match by beating Chaumont, another Erreà team.
