The supporters of Ado Den Haag and those of the Icelandic National team have been shortlisted for the FIFA Fan Award 2016

The shortlist of fans vying for the Fifa Fan Award has been revealed. The recognition for an outstanding moment or exceptional gesture by fans during 2016 can be awarded to any supporters in any league and of any nationality.A panel of experts, composed of Zvonimir Boban, Gabriel Batistuta and Vladimir Petkovic, selected three specific moments featuring the supporters of Ado den Haag, the Icelandic national team and the supporters at the Borussia Dortmund vs Liverpool game. No fewer than two Erreà teams are competing for this extremely prestigious award that has identified two very emotional moments in 2016: - the throwing of soft toys for charity from behind the Ado Den Haag goal during the match against Feyenoord. - the geyser sound of the Icelandic supporters at the end of their Euro 2016 match against France. The winner of the award will announced at the presentation ceremony in Zurich on 9 January.
