Erreà and Catania FC reveal the magnificent second shirt of the Sicilian team: a symbolic gem that captures the essence and beauty of the majestic Mount Etna, the active volcano that overlooks the city of Catania and is the intrinsic symbol of Sicily.
Featuring a round neck design and raglan sleeves, as well as collar and cuffs in fine black rib, the concept is inspired by the extraordinary images of the eruptions of Mount Etna during the winter season, thus highlighting the breathtaking contrast between the white snow and the flaming lava.
To present this unique creation, the dedicated photo shoot developed through two fascinating narratives, describing the knitwear in two different but evocative contexts, and offering a complete vision of the inspiration and the meaning it represents.
The first takes us directly to the sylvan craters of Etna, plunging us into the lava landscape that surrounds these spectacular natural phenomena. In this context, the shirt blends harmoniously into the volcanic soil, highlighting its unique character.
The second photographic story is a tribute to the shirt and the background is given by the sumptuous cardboard sculpture depicting Etna, which adorns the ceiling of Piazza Scammacca realised by the Catanese artist Matteo Raciti.
