Modern Pentathlon France: Mathis Issaka Idé-Large is the U17 World Champion

Mathis Issaka Idé-Large achieved an incredible result by becoming the U17 World Champion in Modern Pentathlon in Alexandria, Egypt.

Despite being in fifth place after the Laser Run, the French athlete gave his all to surpass the competitors who started before him. In the end, he managed to secure victory with a final shot, demonstrating his superior speed compared to his three opponents.

He accumulated a total of 1,445 points and won the gold medal, primarily thanks to his second-best time in the Laser Run, which was 9'01"70. This marks a double victory for him, as he also won the European title in June.
