Mission accomplished in Switzerland for Trentino Itas. After getting off to a splendid start on Wednesday evening, thanks to an assertive 3-0 win over Dynamo Moscow, the yellow-blue team went on to nail it by also beating the host team, Lindaren Volley Amriswil, in three sets in the third and last game of the second preliminary phase of the 2021 CEV Champions League.
Thanks to the first place achieved in Pool H, Giannelli and his teammates have successfully qualified for the Main Phase of the top European competition, bringing the number of Erreà teams taking part to 4: Berlin Recycling Volleys, Leo Shoes Modena, Tours VB and Zenit Kazan.
Start of the 4th Round scheduled to start on 18 - 19 November.
