The countdown has begun for the 2023 European Volleyball Women’s and Men’s Championships, an event that will take place in four countries, as occurred in 2019 and 2021.
Erreà is thrilled to take to the court together with the teams that will take part in this exciting sports tournament.
In addition to the Italian men’s and women’s national teams, both fresh from their victories at the 2021 World and European Championships, Erreà will also supply the kits to the national teams of France (gold medal at the last Olympic Games), Bulgaria, Slovakia (women), Belgium, Greece, Croatia and North Macedonia (men).
This means that Erreà will kit out almost 30% of the teams taking part in the competition.
The women’s event will begin on 15 August and will be held in Italy, Belgium, Germany and Estonia. As for the men, their tournament kicks off on 28 August and will also be staged in Macedonia, Bulgaria and Israel. In Italy, both European Championships will take place in nine different cities. The women’s tournament will start in Verona and then continue in Monza, Turin and Florence.
The men’s European Championships, on the other hand, will start in Bologna which will host the opening match. Subsequently, it will move to Perugia, Ancona and Bari. The semi-finals and the final of the men’s tournament will be held in Rome, at the Palazzo dello Sport, on 14 and 16 September.
This will be the second time that Italy hosts two continental events, 52 years after the 1971 edition. One more opportunity to shine, dreaming of repeating the incredible success of 2021, still alive in everyone’s memories.
