World League: France reaches the Final Six!

France’s volleyball team has finished top of the group and officially qualifies for the Final Six, after having already won the preliminary group ahead of Serbia (current holder of the trophy) and Brazil, that qualifies automatically for the final phase as the host nation. Europe's Volleyball Championship side therefore confirms its position as the star of the tournament, defeated only in the all Erreà derby against Italy, that exits the competition, and victorious against Belgium. Belgium, in fact, leaves the tournament with its head held high after some excellent performances, finishing seventh and just missing out on going through to the final rounds. These, therefore, are the teams that will be competing for the title in Curitiba, Brazil, from 4 to 8 July: France, Brazil, Serbia, Russia, Canada, USA. Congratulations to the French team!
