Volleyball World Championships: Italy in the Final Six!!! The draw and the schedule!

In front of a packed crowd of 12,785 spectators in the Assago Forum, the Italian team brought the second stage of the World Championships to a close beating Netherlands, another Erreà team, 3-1 (16-25, 25-20, 27-25, 25-15). At the end of the second round Russia and Poland were the last two teams to qualify for the Final Turin Six.   These, therefore, are the “magnificent six” which, between 26 — 28 September, will be battling it out for a place in the World Championship semi-finals: Italy (1st in pool E), Brazil (1st in pool F), United States (1st in pool G), Poland (1st in pool H), Russia (1st best second place), Serbia (2nd best second place).   Yesterday in Turin the pools were drawn:Italy, led by coach Gianlorenzo Blengini, was drawn for Pool J alongside Poland and Serbia, while Brazil, USA and Russia will play in Pool I.       Here’s the line-up: Pool I: Brazil, USA, Russia   Pool J: Italy, Poland, Serbia     Here’s the schedule for the Final Six: Pool J 26/09/2018 ITALY - SERBIA at 9.15 pm 27/09/2018 POLAND - SERBIA at 8.30 pm   28/09/2019 ITALY - POLAND at 9.15 pm   Pool I 26/09/2018 BRAZIL - RUSSIA at 5.00 pm   27/09/2018 USA - RUSSIA at 5.00 pm   28/09/2018 BRAZIL - USA at 5.00 pm
