The third official kit for Zebre unveiled. Set to make its debut on Saturday 13 October against the Bristol Bears!

The third official shirt for 2018-2019 made by Erreà Sport for Zebre Rugby Club has been unveiled. The main feature of the third shirt is a bright and shiny blue background that will accompany Castello and his team-mates in Cup matches. In fact, the new shirt will make its debut on the first day of the EPCR Challenge Cup, scheduled for 3.00 pm on Saturday 13 October, against the Bristol Bears away from home. As with the first kit, we have confirmed the multicolour zebra pattern, also on the back of the shirt. Created entirely with digital transfer printing, it continues to be very popular among fans and sector operators. The model, identical for all the kits, is always embellished with really detailed and innovative touches, like the rubberised serigraph located in the areas where the ball is most likely to be caught. Even the inside of the collar is blue, and on it the green, white and red of the Italian flag can be seen, to underscore the Italianness of the franchise which has been based in Parma since 2012. Again, the use of technology features highly in this kit which includes a pocket for inserting a GPS tracking device, held in place by a special thickened fabric, for monitoring players' performance during the match. Above this small pocket we have repeated the epitaph “GRAZIE LUCA” in upper-case letters, in memory of Luca Sisti, the Zebre team video analyst who tragically died in a car crash in the summer of 2015.   The “Ruck” fabric used to make the new kit, designed specifically for rugby and 100% Italian yarn, is unique for its extraordinary resistance and hold while at the same time providing exceptional elasticity and wearability.
