The 2018 Women's World Volleyball Championships are ready to start: from September 29th to October 20th they will be on court in Japan!
Everything is in place for the start of the Women's World Volleyball Championships which will take place in Japan from September 29th to October 20th 2018.
Erreà Sport will be present with 3 national teams, acting as technical sponsor to Italy, Netherlands and Puerto Rico. Cristina Chirichella and her teammates are ready to travel from Sendai to Sapporo where on Saturday morning, 29 September (6:40 am CET) they will have their first match against Bulgaria (Italy is in pool B with Bulgaria, Canada, China, Cuba and Turkey). In their first test match in Japan, Coach Davide Mazzanti's girls beat Azerbaijan 3-0 with a great team performance.
On the other hand, the Netherlands (pool A with Germany, Mexico, Japan, Cameroon and Argentina) will debut against Germany while Puerto Rico (Pool D, with Serbia, Dominican Republic, Brazil, Kenya and Kazakhstan) will take on Brazil.
