The 2016 Paralympics have begun in Rio! So many athletes will be competing wearing Erreà gear

The 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio have begun. The event will run from 7 to 18 September, with 176 countries (with Russia having been excluded), competing in 23 paralympic sports, including canoeing and triathlon - the two new sports introduced for this fifteenth edition. The new countries taking part and the new sports included in the programme of events, mean that the number of athletes will also reach a record high. Some 4,500 athletes, will compete in Rio de Janeiro, compared to the 4,302 who took part in Paralympic Games four years ago. Great excitement for Erreà, that has a number of athletes competing. The following have, in fact, qualified for the Games:
  • -The Netherlands Female Sitting Volley Team
  • -Jo Frith, Team GB - archery
  • -Cassie Mitchell, USA - cycling
  • -Liliana Oliveros Leal, Spain - archery
  • -Karen Van Nest, Canada - archery
Our very best wishes go to everyone!
