Men’s World Championship 2018: Italy trounces Belgium 3-0! Here are our national teams’ matches for the weekend

After the victory at the Foro Italico, the enthusiasm for the Volleyball Men’s World Championship 2018 has also swept through the Nelson Mandela Forum in Florence. The 7.500 fans packed the stadium to the hilt and swept Blengini’s boys to a  3-0 victory over Belgium in an Erreà derby. This was a fine, important victory, because Italy played some stunning volleyball to completely overturn the result of last year’s match against Belgium, who the previous evening in Florence had beaten Argentina. A good performance also from France, who beat China 3-0 in their début match in Bulgaria, before losing narrowly to Brazil. The Italian team will have a day of rest tomorrow, before facing  Julio Velasco’s Argentina on Saturday 15 September.
