The new season of the United Rugby Championship is about to kick off: the Lions are gearing up for new challenges and are ready to wear the new match kits designed by Erreà Sport at their own Monigo Stadium and away.
The Home shirt confirms the traditional design with horizontal stripes in green and white. Made from sophisticated textiles with an elegant geometrical tone-on-tone design on the upper part of the shirt, it features a particular rubberised silkscreen print that reinforces the band across the chest, where the player tends to catch and hold the ball.
The second Lions shirt is identical in styling, but on a blue background. The colour and dimensions of the stripes are different too, and the stripes are positioned diagonally. The details completing this shirt are in gold.
The main body of the shirts is made of Ruck fabric, known for its exceptional resistance combined with excellent elasticity and wearability. The inside of the collar, designed with a refined “V” shape, bears the claim, which has become the slogan of the Lions: “E’ ORA DI RUGGIRE” (IT’S TIME TO ROAR), while in the central part of the neckline we can read “1932 – 2022 90 anni leoni” (1932–2022: 90 years of lions), a clear tribute to the Veneto club's foundation.
