The Italian men's and women's national teams have arrived in Caorle in preparation for the start of the European Sitting Volleyball Championships. The beautiful Venetian town will welcome 22 teams from across Europe for two exciting continental tournaments.
Men's National Team
The men's national team, led by Alizera Moameri, is ready to showcase their skills in this important competition.
The Italian team, starting their campaign on Monday, October 9, has been placed in Pool A and will face the reigning European champions, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Poland, Slovenia, and Lithuania.
Women's National Team
After two consecutive silver medals at the 2019 and 2021 European Championships, the Italian women's team aims to secure their first-ever continental gold.
On October 10, the Azzurre will make their debut at the Valter Vicentini Palamare, taking on Turkey. Italy will also face Croatia, Germany, and Hungary in Group A. Group B includes Slovenia, Ukraine, France, Poland, and Great Britain.
