Erreà Sport and the Cyprus Football Association (Κυπριακή Ομοσπονδία Ποδοσφαίρου) have unveiled the new national team kits, produced as a result of the Erreà - UEFA agreement under the Kit Assistance Scheme, through which UEFA supports smaller football associations by supplying technical sports gear.
The light blue home shirt features side inserts with a refined motif in matching shades, intended as a clear tribute to a mosaic located in the Villa of Theseus in the Paphos Archaeological Park.
It has a crew neck collar with a white trim. The Erreà logo appears on the right-hand side of the chest whilst that of the Cyprus Football Association is on the left.
The words “Η ομάδα που μας ενώνει” (the team that unites us) are embroidered onto the back of the collar, whilst an image of the island of Cyprus, the third largest in the Mediterranean, appears on the lower part of the back of the shirt in matching shades.
The home kit is rounded off with light blue shorts with white trim and socks of the same colour.
The away kit is produced in the same way but uses the colours of the home kit the opposite way round, namely a white background with a light blue trim.
Both tops are slim fitting and made from Mundial fabric, which is soft, breathable and has a double-knit structure.
All garments are certified Oeko-Tex Standard 100, the authoritative certificate that verifies all stages of the product chain by setting extremely strict limits on substances harmful to health.
Once again, it is a high-performance material that is also stylish.
