Thanks to a three-year contract up to the 2024 season, which covers the Summer Olympics in Paris, Erreà Sport will be the new technical partner of the Italian Triathlon Federation (FITRI).
FITRI is a national sports federation recognized by the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI) boasting 27,000 members and 500 sports clubs. The Triathlon, which made its Olympic debut at the Sydney Games in 2000, is the leading multisport race but the FITRI also incorporates other disciplines including the Cross Triathlon, Winter Triathlon, Duathlon and Aquathlon.
Erreà will be the supplier of technical leisurewear for the Senior and Youth National Teams as well as for the group of Race Officials.
"We are delighted and proud to announce a collaboration between the FITRI and Erreà Sport", says Luigi Bianchi, President of the Italian Triathlon Federation. "We needed a reliable and solid partner for our team gear and leisurewear for both our National teams and Race Officials: in Erreà Sport, an energetic and ambitious Italian company, we have found the characteristics we were looking for combined with the marked ability of our new partners to work in synergy with the sports federations".
Angelo Gandolfi, President of Erreà Sport, had this to say of the new agreement: “Triathlon is about challenging oneself, a feat, harmony with nature, fun and health. We are happy that thanks to the FITRI we are getting involved in a new, young sport, which brings together the three most popular and practised disciplines. It will be really interesting because this partnership will allow both parties to develop more specific and technical know-how. Our work has always focused on innovation and research and we can't wait to put our experience at the service of this new collaboration."
