Erreà Sport and Lega Pro unveil the third strip and a new version of the Magister Legacy ball

Erreà Sport and Lega Pro, continuing on their journey together, present the third shirt and a new version of the Magister Legacy ball, as always combining the key concepts of innovation, connection and tradition with the work already done. On a graphic design level, the third shirt, perfected down to the finest detail, comes with vertical stripes created in a black tone-on-tone pattern. The shoulders are decorated with cyan and fuchsia inserts, the unique line of the crew neck is highlighted in bright yellow and the shoulder colours are repeated in the sleeve trims. In the centre, below the words Lega Pro, is last year’s identifying claim - “Il calcio che fa bene al paese” (Football that’s good for the country).

As with the previous shirts, these have been manufactured in Ti-energy 3.0 antiviral and antibacterial fabric, developed by Erreà’s R&D Department. Tests performed in accordance with ISO 18184 using the SARS-COV-2 virus, have proved that in the laboratory, the Ti-energy® 3.0 fabric can reduce the viral load by 99.85% compared to a standard polyester fabric six hours after coming into contact with the virus.

This very important milestone in the world of fabrics became possible through the use of two separate technologies: zinc oxide nano particles, permanently encapsulated in the fibres, and the Minusnine J1+ treatment. This dual function allows the fabric to form an effective protective barrier against droplets, liquids and micro-organisms and ensure that players on the pitch have even greater safety and protection. The special QR Code has now been added to the back of the shirt, and allows the Lega Pro to release exclusive information, providing an opportunity to receive news and rapid updates.

“Magister Legacy” is the official ball for the current season. Its yellow “winter” version features white, blue and pink panels and the characteristic Lega Pro logo.  Designed to increase "trajectory prediction" reactivity and speed of play, as with the version presented last July, this ball also bears the special Lega Pro QR Code. As a result of the technology and the scanning ability of mobile phones, users can access dedicated digital content, switching quickly and easily from offline to online, as through in a sort of link that connects both worlds and is always active. This will facilitate the connection between supporters, fans and the club.

Angelo Gandolfi, President of Erreà Sport: “We are carving out a very significant and fruitful path, a work of great quality with which we are particularly satisfied. This year's football and the message it brings with it are totally in line with our values. The ball will continue to be a hallmark of our partnership, and it will be able to activate physical and digital connections, becoming the link which transmits the values binding Erreà and Lega Pro together".

Francesco Ghirelli, President of Lega Pro : "This incredibly avant-garde ball is the symbol of the younger generations, and is a way of illustrating how Serie C wishes to interact with youngsters, new fans, without forgetting the past which represents the wealth of our traditions: a wealth which must not be lost but must be handed down along with that feeling of belonging to our territory which is so important to us".

The Magister Legacy football is on sale on the Erreà Sport website and is available from all official retailers.
