Club Deportivo Aparejadores Rugby Burgos, known popularly as Recoletas Burgos Caja Rural, joins Erreà under a four-year agreement taking effect from the 2024/2025 season.
The support of EQUIPA2 SPORT, Erreà's distributor for the Castilla y León region, was fundamental in finalising this agreement.
Founded in 1970, Club Deportivo Aparejadores Rugby Burgos has a long history of success and tradition in Spanish rugby. In 2006, the club joined forces with Ferroplás Burgos Rugby Club, creating an even stronger and more competitive team.
The senior men's team currently competes in the highest division of Spanish rugby, the División de Honor de rugby. After years of dominance in the Divisione d'Onore B, the club finally achieved promotion to the top division in 2018, beating Ciencias Fundación Cajasol in the final and becoming undefeated champions of the division.
The club also has an under-23 team that plays in the National League of the División de Honor, demonstrating its ongoing commitment to the growth of young talent and of rugby in Burgos in general.
David Ramon Tormo, Export Manager for the Iberian market: 'We are really excited about the opportunities this new agreement will bring. It is a significant step for our company and for the world of rugby in Spain. We are determined to build on this solid foundation, and we are convinced that this will allow us to achieve new, ambitious goals. Spanish rugby has great potential and we are eager to support and promote the sport through strategic partnerships and targeted events.'
