The girls of Asterix Avo Beveren won their fourth Belgian Volleyball Cup in a full Sportpaleis in Antwerp. Asterix did it after fighting throughout the match and winning 3-2 against VDK Gent. The scores of the sets were 25-22, 20-25, 26-24, 23-25 and 15-13.
This is the fourth cup victory for Asterix Avo Beveren in seven years. In the past they have won in 2017, 2018 and 2022. In addition, the club counts 13 trophies won by Asterix Kieldrecht before the merger.
Defending champion Ghent has only won the national cup once, in 2009, after a final (3-2 win) against Kieldrecht.
