Talented angler Gianmarco Cappoia from Team Wild Erreà has recently been awarded the prestigious Bronze Valor Medal for his outstanding performances in the under 25 championship dedicated to feeder fishing.
"When I heard that, for the first time, an under 25 championship was finally being held for our discipline with access to a world championship, I didn't hesitate to participate," stated Cappoia. "After a disappointing first attempt in Ostellato, we decided to attack with determination in the next two trials, adopting an aggressive strategy that proved to be successful."
With a first sector placement in Saturday's competition and a third-place finish in the partial standings, Gianmarco Cappoia surprised everyone, including himself, winning the championship and earning a spot on the national team. "After this championship, I realize more than ever that in sports, you always have to believe," commented the young angler.
