Erreà Sport creates the “We Run Together” shirt for Vatican Athletics. The company will be taking part in the charity auction of sports items promoted by Pope Francis starting on 8 June

The project for this special shirt made by Erreà Sport for Vatican Athletics was conceived as part of the first international "We Run Together - Simul Currebant" Meeting originally scheduled for 21 May 2020 but postponed due to the pandemic.

Over the last few months, it has all turned into an extraordinary charity auction that will bring together the most varied and prestigious items, proceeds from the sales of which will go to the Brescia and Bergamo hospitals. The auction will commence on Monday 8 June and will run for about two months on the CharityStars.com platform.

Among the most important items up for auction is the Specialized bicycle given to Pope Francis by Peter Sagan and other sporting souvenirs belonging to the Holy Father as well as sporting experiences and objects offered by Francesco Totti, Federica Pellegrini, Filippo Tortu and many others.

Erreà Sport will be participating with a shirt specially dedicated to the initiative; blue with a gold band in the middle across which run stylized figures of small, tall and disabled athletes, the shirt gives a strong and clear message of inclusion.

It was Pope Francis himself who, during his extraordinary audience on 20 May, promoted and supported the charity initiative, We Run Together, organized by Vatican Athletics, the sporting group of the Fiamme Gialle of the Guardia di Finanza (the Italian Finance Police),Cortile dei Gentili” and Fidal-Lazio. The Pope, who has always been committed to promoting sport as an instrument of inclusion, sharing and peace, is inviting everyone to "run with your heart", participating in the initiative, because "the true valuesof sport are particularly important for tackling this period of pandemic and, above all, the difficult process of restarting".

A very special shirt, it will be available on the Erreà e-commerce website as of Monday 8 June 2020.
