Berlin Recycling Volleys: successful defense of cup title

The Berlin Recycling Volleys have won the DVV Cup for the seventh time, adding a glorious chapter to their history. Facing an enthusiastic crowd of 10,887 spectators gathered in the majestic SAP Arena in Mannheim, the capital's team dominated the field, securing a clear 3-0 victory (25:13, 25:18, 25:23) against WWK Volleys Herrsching. With captain Ruben Schott leading them, the BR Volleys achieved a milestone for the club, defending the cup title for the first time.

The elimination from the Champions League against Trentino Volley was quickly forgotten thanks to an extraordinary performance in a one-sided match.

Setter Johannes Tille was awarded the MVP of the match, showcasing his leadership and talent in the most crucial moment. "The trophy means a lot to us," commented Tille. "We've had to overcome many difficulties this month, so it was essential to win and play a high-level game."
