More than 50,000 runners from 150 countries enlivened the streets of New York in the world's most famous marathon, about 20 of whom came from Parma.
And, as usual, there were athletes from the Erreà athletics teams, such as Cus Parma and Atletica Manara.
With an unusually hot temperature of over 20 degrees, which made the race more difficult for the athletes but pleasant for the spectators, Daniele Pulcini (Cus Parma) recorded the best time among the Parmesans, completing the 42.097 km race in 3h15'53'', while Inzaina (Atletica Manara) did it in 3h39'30.
For the occasion, Erreà made a customised tank top worn by Daniele Pulcini.
