Zebre Rugby took to the pitch again on Friday 26 October for a Guinness PRO14 match, after their success against the Bristol Bears in the first part of the EPCR Challenge Cup. Just one week after their last home game the Parma-based team once again ran out in front of their fans in the Lanfranchi Stadium where they took on the Scottish team, Edinburgh. The first half saw possession of the ball and control of the field of play favour the hosts, who were determined in attack to put a lot of pressure on the Italian defence, who were able to keep the XV of the North West in the game, despite only having 27% possession with very few attacking opportunities. Castello and his team-mates came off at half time 13 - 3 down, but took to the pitch for the second half and delivered an exemplary performance, with aggressiveness in defence and excellent play in attack. A memorable fight back and an outstanding performance by Zebre, who claimed their third win with a bonus point out of 4 home games and their fourth win this season with nine games played.
