Erreà Sport and the FIPAV are pleased to announce the renewal of the technical collaboration that will result in Erreà kitting out the entire National Sector of Match Officials for a further four years.
It is with mutual satisfaction, therefore, that the decade-plus technical partnership, begun in 2007, is to be extended. It will for the first time encompass the Entire National Sector of Match Officials and now also include the Beach Volley and Sitting Volley section. The agreement will, in actual fact, concern: Category A and B referees; Video Assistant Referee staff; international FIPAV referees; sitting and beach volley referees; beach volley supervisors; refereeing delegates and refereeing management.
On the occasion of such a significant renewal, Erreà wanted to modernise and build a new image for all the professionals involved, through the creation of new match strips and related team and leisurewear. A great deal of attention has gone into the models and details, that are characterised by a driven technological research into the fabric, to produce a look that is always sporty, yet more elegant and fashionable.
Totally renewed in style, the polo for Category A and B referees has a refined polo collar with white edging, like the sleeves. The two-tone model is characterised by the blue upper part that is separated from the lower part by a horizontal stripe in the three colours of the Italian flag. Created entirely in transfer print, the graphics are enriched and enlivened by thin white stripes in matching shades, that cross on the background of the shirt. As a result of the double knit construction, the fabric is very soft and breathable and is characterised by the presence of micro-holes which facilitate the rapid evaporation of perspiration and the prefect regulation of body temperature.
Also transfer printed, with the same model and fabric but in white and blue, the Video Assistant Referee staff polo differs, as a result of the central green, white and red stripe that runs vertically and extends the line from the collar, that is also a polo design.
Also totally new are the long trousers in blue, revisited in the wearability and the slightly elasticated fabric. With careful attention paid to detail, it has side pockets, a comfy zip, a button and buckle belt, for a style that makes it closely resemble elegant and formal trousers.
A restyled image that the President of Erreà Sport, Angelo Gandolfi, commented on as follows: “We are extremely satisfied at this extension and confident, as a result of the strong bond that ties us to the Federation, in the investment we are making once again in a collaboration in which we have believed from the very start, in a sector that has demonstrated it is in constant growth. So we wanted to totally revamp the image of the entire National Sector of Match Officials for this really important occasion, putting all our passion and all the expertise acquired over the years in sport and more specifically in volleyball, into the new garments and the new ranges. The new outfits for referees contain all our know-how and our best expertise.”
Just like all Erreà garments, all the new kits for the entire National Sector of Match Officials are Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified. This prestigious certification, obtained in 2007 as the leading company in Europe in the teamwear sector, guarantees the setting of extremely stringent limitations on the use of harmful substances, guaranteeing high levels of quality and health safety on all products, in whatever conditions they are used.
