The fiercely contested 2016 Men's Volleyball Champions League final, consisting of an emotional all Erreà derby, resulted in a victory for Zenit Kazan that, with a strong finish, defeated Diatec Trentino with a final score of 3-2. The Tauron Arena in Krakow is where the Russians, who were losing 2-0, thanks to a stunning performance in the first two sets by Trento, won the next two games to then take the lead at the tie break, pulling back their two point deficit to win 15-13. So at the end of this veritable battle, Zenit were crowned Champions of Europe for fourth time in their history and for the second consecutive year. Trento, on the other hand, having competed in a fifth European final and the ninth international tournament since 2009, did come very close against the reigning European Champions, proudly winning the Silver Medal against very strong opposition.  Our heartfelt congratulations go to both our teams!
