“Melior de cinere surgo” are the words that make up a famous inscription on the Ferdinandea Gate in Catania. Meaning “I rise stronger from the ashes”, it sums up how the local population continues to rebuild their city upon the ashes, more beautiful than ever each time.
These words mark the resumption of the adventures of the new club, Catania Società Sportiva Dilettantistica, which is gearing up to start the new Serie D Championship with a new home and away match kit designed and produced by Erreà Sport.
The home shirt features a deliberately classic style, with broad red and blue vertical stripes. The cuffs and the patch inside the collar feature narrower stripes in the same colours for decoration. The model is completed with a collar and a new take on the V neck, in white.
With a white background and a round neck, the away shirt has raglan sleeves with a red and blue stripe pattern.
