The Florentine team Savino del Bene Scandicci reaches its second CEV Cup final in just two years, successfully completing its mission. In the semi-final against THY Istanbul, the Tuscan women’s team won the two sets required in the return leg, qualifying with a final score of 3-2 (25-21, 18-25, 26-24, 23-25, 15-10) for the final phase of the tournament.
The Savino del Bene Scandicci volleyball team once again proved the excellent calibre of its squad, with players such as Zhu Ting and Isabella Di Iulio giving top quality performances over the course of the match.
The game against THY Istanbul was demanding and lasted more than two hours, but Savino Del Bene managed to achieve victory in the two sets required. Despite Scandicci suffering its first defeat in this European season, success is sweet. The team is now waiting to discover its rivals, who will emerge from the Romanian derby between Alba Blaj and Târgoviște.
