Sitting second in the Championship table, the Blades beat Blackburn, from the same league, winning 3-2 with a decisive extra-time goal that has taken United into an FA Cup semifinal for the first time in 9 years.
The last time was in the 2013/2014 season, when their dreams of glory were shattered by Hull City.
In the next round, Sheffield United will be facing Manchester City, who streamrolled Burnley with a 6-0 victory in the weekend of 22/23 April 2023.
