Erreà and Unione Sportiva Città di Pontedera present the new home jersey for the 2024/2025 season.
30 years after the historic victory against Arrigo Sacchi's National Team, Pontedera will bring a piece of its history to all the fields of Lega Pro.
This kit is indeed a tribute to the extraordinary feat of 1994, when Pontedera defeated the Italian National Team in a memorable pre-World Cup USA '94 friendly at the federal center in Coverciano.
The new jersey, with the usual maroon background, is enriched by a tone-on-tone graphic that reproduces the newspaper headlines of the time such as "Pontedera-Italy 2-1", "Pontedera to the World Cup", "Pontedera beats Italy" and "Pontedera like Germany".
The graphics and historical references give the jersey a special charm, making it an icon of the club's journey.
Completing the design, the crew neck collar and sleeve trim are in black, while the club's logo, symbolically placed over the heart, is in white.
