The event “Training for Equality: Women and Men Play the Same Game” was held at the "Ercole Negri" Sport Center in Parma, promoted by Sport Center Polisportiva SSD, the first sports club in Emilia-Romagna to have obtained the UNI/PDR 125 Gender Equality Certification.
Erreà, official partner of Sport Center Parma since October 2024 and always committed to promoting the values of inclusion, fairness, and equal opportunities, played a leading role in the event.
Certified according to UNI/PDR 125, Erreà shared its concrete experience during the round table discussion, with contributions from Annalisa Gandolfi, the company’s Managing Director, Rosa Sembronio, Head of Marketing, and Silvia Toffolutti, Global Diversity & Inclusion Specialist at Chiesi Farmaceutici. It was an opportunity to showcase Erreà’s commitment, where attention to the individual is a founding principle of the company's culture.
During the meeting, SG Plus – Sport Advisor presented a study on the role of women in Italian sport, highlighting how much work still remains to be done to foster female leadership at the highest levels of federations, sports clubs, and professional teams.
Special guests included Claudia Giordani, Vice President of CONI, Milena Bertolini, former Head Coach of the Italian Women's National Football Team, and Daniela Isetti, UCI Councillor and Sports Councillor of Salsomaggiore. Various corporate representatives also shared experiences and best practices on gender equality.
Two special awards were presented during the event:
-
Sport Center Award Leadership to Elisabetta Todeschini, Vice President of Federmanager Parma
-
Sport Center Award Empowering to Monica D’Ascenzo, journalist from Il Sole 24 Ore
Sponsored by the Emilia-Romagna Region, the Municipality of Parma, CONI, and other associations, the event involved university students and participants from IFTS courses, reaffirming itself as a key moment for raising awareness on diversity and inclusion — values fully embraced and promoted by Erreà.
