Mulhouse beats Le Cannet in the final to celebrate its first historic title!

Mulhouse won its first title by beating Parisi and Lombardo's Le Cannet, that had placed it under severe pressure with numerous match points.

A thrilling, hard-fought match in which the teams, both sporting the Erreà logo, were protagonists in a balanced, fraught encounter which only ended at the 5th set, following an extremely long 4th set, with no fewer than six match balls for Le Cannet. The tie-break, however, hung in the balance only until 6-6, then Santana’s two points (8-6) and a block by Orlé on Lazic (10-7) marked the break away. Todorova’s ace attempted to restart the match (10-9), but the final was all Mulhouse's, with the counter-attack by Santana (12-9) and the blocks by Trach (13-9) and Orlé (14-9 and 15-9).

The MVP of the final match was Puerto Rican hitter Santana, team leader for the entire season, but Orlé's contribution was also outstanding.

A huge satisfaction for Erreà, official technical partners for both finalists. Well done to our teams!
