Congratulations!!!! 2018 Volleyball Men's World Championship: extraordinary and unforgettable excitement at the Foro Italico Italy beats Japan 3-0!

Rome. The eagerly awaited 2018 World Volleyball Men’s World Championship began with a great evening of celebration. In the unrivalled setting of the Foro Italico in Rome, 11,170 spectators spurred the Italian national team on to a 3 - 0 victory over Japan.

An incredible piece of entertainment with Erreà Sport as the official technical sponsor of the Italian national team. Present in the stands were: Sergio Mattarella - President of the Italian Republic; Giancarlo Giorgetti - Under Secretary of State in the Italian Prime Minister’s Office; Pietro Bruno Cattaneo - President of FIPAV; Giovanni Malagò - President of CONI, as well as all the top names in Italian sport.  At the end of some long hard-fought phases, Zaytsev and his team mates managed to find the decisive lunge.

After Rome, the Italian national team moves on to Florence, the location for Pool A, where it will take to the court on Thursday 13 September against Belgium, another Erreà team, at 9.15 pm.
