Wales reveals its new Erreà kit for the 2017 Rugby League World Cup

The Welsh national team has unveiled its new match kit designed and produced by Erreà for the 2017 Rugby League World Cup being played in Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea from 27 October to 2 December 2017.

Presented to the press during a conference, that took place last Friday 21 July, the new kit was produced by Erreà in collaboration with buysportskitPRO, with whom the Welsh national team signed a two year agreement.

At the centre of a predominantly red shirt is a white and green chevron, and the symbol of the dragon, transfer printed tone-on-tone, appears on each sleeve. A basic but very elegant new kit for which the initial feedback has been extremely positive, as were the words of Chris Thair, CEO of Wales Rugby League who recently visited Erreà’s headquarters: “Erreà have done a fantastic job. It maintains the features of the traditional design, but also provides a new twist that is both original and extremely eye-catching. Initial feedback has been truly excellent.”

James Milner, Sales Manager for buysportskitPRO, said: “We have worked long and hard in recent months to produce the official kit and all the team wear. Working alongside Wales Rugby League and Erreà, we have developed a shirt that is very popular with fans and players alike.”
